Parking Activations and Operations Manager

As Parking Activation and Operations Manager, you will be a key member in our Infrastructure and Operations team, responsible for the delivery of the truck parking lots within our network, and ensuring the smooth and correct operation of our truck parking management solutions.

As Parking Activation and Operations Manager, you will be a key member in our Infrastructure and Operations team, responsible for the delivery of the truck parking lots within our network, and ensuring the smooth and correct operation of our truck parking management solutions.


High-level responsibilities and tasks

As Parking Activation and Operations Manager, you are responsible for the management of the operational lifecycle  of the parking management solutions running our truck parking sites: from validation the solution conception done by the sales team of new prospects, to connecting & activating signed truck parking sites into our truck parking network, and finally ensuring the smooth and effective operations of our truck parking management solutions across the network.

Through the deep knowledge of the configurations and target operating models of our truck parking lots, you ensure a high-quality delivery with a consistent approach on 3 key domains:


Parking Solution design

  • Work closely with the Sales team to validate proposals for prospects, according to their products, services and processes.
  • Work closely with the Product & Technology teams to enhance our proposed solutions to the truck parking managers, our customers, from Vendor selection, to testing new solutions
  • Train the internal stakeholders and the Sales team regarding our suite of solutions for truck parking management

Parking activation

  • Manage a network of external partners allowing them to contribute to the delivery of our solutions through their own products and services
  • Deliver signed parking installations, configuration and activations to the OTRA network in an ever-improving time-to-market
  • Ensure, in close collaboration with the customer success team, proper customer onboarding to the suite of Solutions and processes of OTRA to ensure maximal customer satisfaction and benefit from the OTRA solutions


Parking In-life and quality management

  • Define parking solutions performance and efficiency targets and monitoring
  • Setup the monitoring and quality/incident processes application across the network of truck parking lots and with our vendors and partners
  • Follow-up operational incidents encountered through truck parking operations, ensure adequate incident management and resolution, in a timely and effective manner – reporting on qualitative and quantitative metrics, and proposing remediations and new metrics to address structural problems.


You are capable of understanding rapidly and deeply existing processes and solutions of truck parking management, identify the best setup for new parking lots to benefit from OTRA solutions– with curiosity and a feel for hardware and software solutions understanding and implementation. You are eager to make things happen, put together the right network of people to deliver solutions if need, unlocking situations with a very pragmatic and hands approach. Meeting people from different cultures and languages, driving or flying to truck parking lots across Europe to make things happen should not be a deterrent but a motivating factor. You are very communicative with a positive, constructive and make-it-happen attitude. You are flexible and passionate about quality. You  come up with solutions and  realize them. You are comfortable with ambiguity, figuring out things as they evolve, switch contexts easily, you think about different options and their long-term impact. You work across multiple tasks and longer-term projects while keeping stress levels down.

You can’t know everything but we’re looking for experience in a range of these areas:

  • Hardware and software configuration
  • Knowledge of service management and process management frameworks
  • Experience designing target operating models, including support and incident management.
  • Experience in vendor, installer and partner management in general
  • Experience setting up continuous improvement processes
  • Knowledge of access control systems (hardware and software configuration)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of other European languages is an asset.

This is a full-time position where the work can be performed within a hybrid setting with at least 2-3 day per week on site, or occasionally more if required.

Travelling to meet customers can be required.
